Enjoyed this one. A departure from the ordinary. The characters were interesting and I wanted to keep reading to find out what happened. Recommended.

A very entertaining mystery with a twist. This book is creatively written and it was a quick read. Soon to be a movie starring Sandra Bullock. Looking forward to reading more books by Maria Semple. The students in my book club really loved this book.

I read this book the week after I returned from an Antarctica cruise, because I saw it in a bookshop in Port Lockroy with a sign saying "THIS BOOK MENTIONS PORT LOCKROY". It tickled me immensely everytime I knew a reference. I kept nudging my husband every 2 hours showing how Maria Semple IS IN MY HEAD. If this is satire, I love it.
