This is an excellent mystery that kept me turning pages. When a neighbor that she barely knows is killed, the MC takes it upon herself to investigate. She has moved to a new town and neighborhood where the women are extremely snobby and pretentious, and since she is not at all that way, she does not fit in, yet these are the people and the neighborhood where she has to investigate. There is humor, mystery, and great characters.

This book is sort of a new genre for Jennifer Weiner. It's still chick lit, but it's a murder mystery. It was a fun, quick read although I thought the actual mystery part was a little contrived. I'm looking forward to the sequel, because I think as Weiner writes more mysteries, she'll get better and better.
