I'm a fan of the Amelia Peabody series in general. This book wasn't as good as some of the others in the series. It's set during WWI after Ramses has done a spy mission. Not as much action as some of the other books but still plenty of humor. ...more

The shift in focus to the second generation of Emersons has breathed new life into the series.
