I was a bit disappointed in this one. For a book about Coyote, I found there was a lack of the trickster qualities I find in other books with him as a character, which just seemed odd considering the author was Christopher Moore, who is known for his off-beat characters and plotlines.

One of my favorite things about Moore is how he manages to write a hysterical story while keeping a sweet and sensitive theme to his work - part of what makes his humor successful is that you can feel it comes from a place of love, not spite.
