i didn't like this book for the first half but felt so surprised by how it took a turn for the better that i had to write a review about it. hanging in there, in this case, paid off. and i didn't realize until the end of the book that the same author wrote one of my favorite books as a young teen, "the silver kiss."

Some of the werewolf parts were interesting but there is just too much fantasy for me to really enjoy it.
Interesting take on werewolves, well written and enjoyable
An intriguing, enjoyable, couldn't-put-down read for anyone, especially those into urban fiction, adults as well as teens. A nice change from the more common vampire stories, this book tells the exciting tale of the modern-day life of a teen girl werewolf and how she and her pack live among homo sapiens in an everflowing way that makes the story almost believable.
