I got about halfway through this and I just can’t take it anymore. I’ve read many of this author’s books before and enjoyed them. I saw the film for this one many years ago and finally decided to read the book.

The author opens the book by explaining that, while writing this, he was working long hours as an attorney and spent most of his free time writing bc he really wanted to be a writer so badly. Which I’m assuming is why there are *so* many sex scenes in this book. And not just sex scenes bu ...more
