Didn't finish this one in my borrowing time allotted. I liked the setting, the characters, but there's just something about a novel about divorce--no matter how smart and international it is--that's hard to read during a pandemic.

DeLillo is hit and miss for me. This one was a miss. His writing is wonderful, but the disjointed plotting and the obtuseness of it all, probably does something negative to my lawyerly heart that aches for certainty. If I could only put a name on it . . .
