This entertaining little novella reads like a swell idea rushed out in a hurry and then not edited before publication. Heavy description full of excessive modifiers and weird little metaphors had me shaking my head and asking, “Really, Stephen?” Example: “Her upper lip curled back, revealing snaggle teeth that were yellow with nicotine. I haven't read many of King's novels, but this one though not that long certainly shows his command of the language and how to set a mood.

Can you say creepy?! And can you say hate the ending?! But seriously I did enjoy reading the book and will have to check out some Stephen King.
Flat earthers. Charismatic religious fanatics. Mocking the ending of Lost LOL. This 41 year-old book aged well.
