Such a promising concept, but I can't help but feel disappointed. Many beautiful lines. The whole strangeness of Samson's predicament is somehow unconvincing. Even if I could suspend my doubt, I was unmoved and lost concentration during strange interludes with characters who didn't mean anything. The book needed more Anna, more Lana, and more Donald.
