The forensics in this one are just as good as her previous ones in the series. Though the story is well plotted and leave little to serendipity, there was a great deal of explanation as to how it all came together in the final thirty of forty pages in the book. Reichs is capable of writing a novel where the circumstances and actions of the character allow the reader the possibility of figuring it out for himself which makes for a much more satisfying read.
