A Brighton Beach 25 year old, kate Kontent moves to New York cities in the early 1900's to begin her life. She ingrains herself into upper society and fangles her way into a fabulous job. This fun, dream-like read into society life is a delightful ride which will surely make you wish to be 25 and just starting your

Set in 1938, the story begins in a Greenwich Village jazz bar, where Katey and her boardinghouse roommate Eve happen to meet banker Tinker Grey. This chance encounter sets Katey on an interesting life course which leads her to the offices of Conde Nast and a new social circle. Very well written.
