A fun mystery series featuring a Private Detective agency which includes the Dog, Chet, and his human Bernie. Chet narrates the book, and he has an interesting take on his job (catching the bad guys) and life.

I really don't like books that the animal is the narrator - but for some reason I really enjoyed this. Maybe it was how much it reminded me of Hank the CowDog that my kids listened to when they were little. Very fun book

A mystery novel told from the point of view of Chet, a police trained dog. Chet and his owner Bernie get involved in a missing person case involving the disappearance of a 17 year old. I really liked Chet's voice, he sounded the way I think a dog would if it could talk. The mystery was a bit simplistic but it was a fun book. ...more

Chet is soooo adorable and funny! Love the furry, little guy! Bernie is pretty okay too. This is an awesome start to what looks to be a promising series. I will definitely continue!

Funny and utterly charming - the conceit of dog as narrator really works here.
