Why did I wait so long to read this YA novel? Maybe I was overwhelmed by all the YA dystopian literature that has bombarded the bookscene after the success of The Hunger Games? Dystopian YA literature is becoming so fluffy these days! I really hoped for more from this one given its high ratings. This was a fast, easy, and exciting read that I was able to finish in approximately one day, so I will give the author credit for that. The main character is fairly dynamic and interesting. Good action. I liked that it did not have a love triangle. Some parts predictable, but usually the question was how would this resolve, not if. Ready for the next book in the series; I think it is worth continuing.
