This was my first Barbara O'Neal book, but certainly won't be my last! From the book cover, I was expecting something very light and fluffy, entertaining but not too taxing. I was pleasantly surprised at the depth of the characters and the strength of Elena. This was not a sappy romance; rather it was a genuine love story that moved me to tears with it's conclusion.
