Reminded me why I love romance - and romance heroes especially - oh so very much! (4.5 stars)

Wow. This book was an amazing read and came at just the time when I really needed an HR winner. I bought this book awhile ago, but just couldn't commit to reading it. Allright, I confess I haven't read a bona fide Smut Novel for quite some time. The genre seems to have come a long way since I swore off them! This was a good one. Yes, breasts heave and bodices are ripped, but the author also did a bit of homework in both history and languages. She does love scenes pretty realistically too, and makes sure Our Heroine is ...ahem...pleased, in a believable and pretty darn hot way.
Wouldn't have minded a few more of those scenes, in fact.
