What Members Thought
This book is a page turner and opens with a young man getting his hand cut off. Three different story lines that interconnect. Each story line is compelling with interesting characters and it is fun to try and figure out how they are all related. So good.
Excellent writing, intriguing storyline. Could give it 3 1/2 stars.
Interesting story about the lives of three different groups of people. I thought that Chaon provided some thoughtful commentary and ideas in this book about human nature and society, but overall, it was too slow for me and perhaps too complex for an audio listen. I liked it, and I will read Chaon again, but I find this one difficult to recommend to my GR friends.
