Stephanie Plum gets more outrageous and less competent with every one of this series of stories. She must be the worst bond enforcement officer in the history of the known world. Her day- to- day life is littered with burning cars, lost handcuffs and near misses of all kinds. In between coming home to an apartment that every crook in town seems able to burgle, losing her handbag and not finding her targets, she has a lot of fun.
