So...this book was very strange to me. It was like a modern Southern Gothic- happy stories and then weird and details that I didn't think would be included. I don't really know what the point of the book was and I wouldn't really recommend it.

I read this novel after devouring the YaYa Sisterhood, which I loved. However, it was a disappointing read to me. It was just too much, but I'm giving it 3 stars due to Wells' character development with another Southern dysfunctional family.

I know a lot of people who hated this book, but I liked it quite a bit. Not quite as much as ya-ya's, but still......
