This book was really really good! The history aspect was incredibly interesting. I thought this book was very different than a lot of the books that I read that talked about the institution of slavery. Part of what made the book so interesting are all those things that no one really talks about. I also though that Mattie and Lisbeth were incredibly well-written characters. Wonderful book overall.
