If you want a more believable and better conspiracy-theory read on Jesus' family or speculative family, read The Da Vinci Code. This just didn't work...

I found myself engaging in the Tempe eyeroll too frequently when she engaged in discussions and internal dialogue about the religious implications of her bone/shroud discoveries. She sounded more like a college freshman than a mature scientist.

I also highly doubt the Ryan and Tempe would have been allowed to personally travel to Israel to deliver

As always, a very enjoyable Tempe Brennen novel, but I was pleased that this was more mystery than anatomical explanations! This is an archaeological mystery that takes place in Israel. She is accompanied by Andrew Ryan and the adventure begins.

This has been my least favorite in the series although the ancient history theories produced quite a bit of speculative thought.
