Sookie is driving home from a New Years Eve Party at merlotte's when she finds a nearly nude Eric running down the road. It turns out Eric's memory has been erased due to a witches curse. Sookie finds herself very attracted to this kinder, gentler Eric. This story was definitely more focused than the last book in the series. i would have liked to give the book 4,5 stars - it was great and catching but i prefer "the old" eric. it was good that bill was away - so we learned: we don't need him! alcide & eric is totally enough ;)
