Ok, these books are clearly not quality fiction but they are definitely entertaining especially having watched the whole of the True Blood series (which is brilliant). I like to think that the author did not take herself or the story very seriously which makes me respect her more and because of this I'm going to read other Sookie Stackhouse books and have fun doing it.

Bill is working on a mysterious project for the vampire Queen of Louisiana when he is kidnapped in Mississippi. Eric has Sookie go undercover to find him with the help of a werewolf. For some reason this book didn't suck me in as much as the first two books. Probably a lot of my feelings connect to how confused Sookie was about her relationship in the book.
