What Members Thought
The first half was difficult for me to get into. The end was a tad predictable, however, I loved Professor Barrow. I loved the ingenuity of the thieves and the art world scene.
A good art mystery crammed with facts about painting forgeries, art theft, and museums.
Some interesting themes and ideas, but totally swallowed by the ridiculously convoluted plot, sketchy character motivations, and the near-complete disconnect between the multiple storylines. Does have a few nice pieces of dialogue, though, particularly for the British investigator.
