What Members Thought
I think this may be my second favorite Lord Peter Wimsey book. The story is compelling, the motive is interesting and the way he gets to the solution is great. Sayers writing is full o little gems. Some of her sentences are absolutely striking. I adore the music of her prose. I just wish there had been more Lord Peter action, especially in his interaction with Harriet Vane. The book only improves upon additional readings.
