What Members Thought
• I really liked the protagonist Abigail – a very likeable black woman who is bucking the tide to become a lawyer. I enjoyed her character and the major role she had in this book.
• The alternate history theme was also appealing and not so far out. At the end the book states most of the major departures from the real historical events, persons, & use of language.
