I would probably give this quick read 3.5 stars. The mail-order bride/mommy idea seems a little creepy to me. And the family falls together just so nice and neat and quickly. That would never happen in today's reality. But read from the narrator's perspective (Anna, a young girl who just wants her family to be happy again following the loss of her mother) it is a sweet story. ...more
