What Members Thought
This is my favorite Little House book. It begins with Laura teaching school 12 miles from home. She's miserable and Almanzo comes to bring her home every weekend. Their relationship slowly develops as he gets Laura to help him break in a team of horses.. Mary returns for the summer from college. I know in real life things didn't go very well for awhile at least after the marriage but I enjoy the happiness portrayed in this book.
