What Members Thought
This is a very in depth look at the cycle of poverty through the stories of two different women and their families. It is told in a journalistic approach with no commentary from the author at all. There is no analysis or suggestion of what can be done to improve things. Nothing earth-shattering, but solid writing keeps the stories moving along.
Seeing the relentlessness of the conditions that hamstring these young people is eyeopening and more than a little enraging - stark and unsparing.
