Atlas of Remote Islands is a unique, beautiful little book. It starts out with an introduction in which the author describes her childhood love for atlases. She beautifully describes the wondrous process of discovering and imagining all the places around the world in which she will never set foot. The introduction is followed by maps and a short vignettes about fifty different remote islands.
