Book club book for March 2012 - Holy CRAP this looks long! apparently everyone else in my book club has more reading time than I do ...

Ok. I actually wanted to give more stars for this book. But the dark tone and the super intense (plus long) plot made me reducing the stars. It's too heavy for my taste, especially because Shriver loved to use lengthy sentences and very difficult words - which actually not really necessary in my opinion, because the issue itself is already really complicated - a mother's contemplation of her mass murderer son. Such an interesting book, so disturbing, so riveting but not really one I enjoyed. Couldn't put it down.

Creeeeeeeepy good.
I pulled myself through this kicking and screaming - but the last 20 or so pages made the whole thing worth it.
