I thought this was a great book and completely disturbing. This is a very new book (just came out June 26th) I bought it because the premise sounded awesome. The world suddenly and without warning starts to have longer daylight hours and no one knows why. Interesting premise - the earth's rotation is slowing and consequently days and nights become longer. Weather patterns and food supplies are altered. Even people suffer from maladies caused from the "slowing." I heard about this book a couple times this year so when I saw it at the library, I picked it up. Easy, quick read about a girl coming of age during a time of great change - in her immediate world of family and in the world at large.
