A pretty good story. It did take a long, winding track to get to the top of this rollercoaster, but the trip was fun and the exciting drop at the end was worth it. I'm looking forward to seeing where the author goes with this story next. ...more

Great series and watched the series as well. Reading it is far better.

I like books about Witches - especially if they live in modern times. I really loved Deborah Harkness series - The Discovery of Witches. This book was a lot simpler - maybe it was more of a witch romance or young adult. But still the main characters of Freya, Ingrid and their mother Joanna were really charming and I loved the setting of eastern Long Island. It was more of a summer witch read - kind of fun but not too deep. Kept my interest.
