At first I thought this book started out slowly, but then I got into it and realized how all the characters were interrelated in the plot, and by that time, I was turning pages as fast as I could. This is a complex story, tragic in so many different ways. When the murderer is finally exposed, it is shocking. It is a well-plotted and intriguing mystery.
