4.5 stars. Only because the beginning was a tad slow. First, I want to thank my daughter Ashley for checking this book out of the library on her Christmas break from school and reading it, and then making a deal with me in which my part of the deal was to read this book! I loved it.

It is nice to know that the stories I've heard in the Bible are true. I know it sounds silly to say that, but sometimes you wonder if Biblical stories are literal or figurative. Like describing the pearly gates of he

I heard a lot about this book and finally read it. It is definitely a good and interesting story. I know there is a lot of discussion about whether it is 'truth' or fiction, but I believe there is more to this life (and death) than we mere humans can ever imagine, so I won't argue either way, but will just acknowledge that it could be real and I, being a mere human, am not in a position to judge. ...more
