The book started out well enough - good background mystery, lovely setting, likable main characters......and then.........it just dragged on and on and on. The dog training was interesting for the first few chapters and then I couldn't figure out why there was so much of it in the story. And the whole Fiona / Simon relationship was so stereotyped - Fiona "I'm a strong independent woman and I don't need any help" and Simon "I'm a hulking guy and I'll protect you" blah, blah, blah.
