Fun little book, nice historical detail, great plot.
This was soooo hard to get into, I started it about 3 times before I finally forced myself to read through it. The end was sweet, but I wish I had just watched the movie.
Great quick read. A story that reminds you to believe in the power of people and the strength of women. Also leaves you w/ a fondness for bees and knowledge of their magic.

I mean, it was fine. A little too precious in parts. Nowhere near as good as The Invention of Wings, IMO.
