Wow, I did not expect to enjoy this as much as I did.
I expected a guilty pleasure book, which this definitely is, but it's hugely engaging. The author has an excellent grasp on what it's legitimately like to be a teenager, the concerns you have and the way you think about things - even the slightly dated constant list of brand names makes you feel like this could really be happening to someone in a soap opera kind of way, rather than taking you out of the story.

What a nice break from adult books. I had a bit of a hard time keeping all the girls straight, but that may have been one of the goals. They are a group that's meant to be together as a unit, not apart. I think my favorite character was Aria but you can certainly identify with parts of each girl. I don't know if the stories will go more paranormal but I do hope that in future books the girls will be together. Ah high school- not a place I'd love to go back to but the pages of this book brought b
