Quick read about two close friends (Jennifer and Beth) and a cute, unusual love story. Definitely not a typical selection for me, and I had low expectations when I grabbed this at the library. I was looking for something to read during a challenging week, hoping this would be an easy, low-stress distraction, and I wasn’t disappointed. My favorite part was the ending.
Lincoln's job is monitoring the staff of The Courier newspaper in Nebraska's e-mail and notifying them if they break company policy. It's set in 1999 so everybody is e-mailing instead of texting. Lincoln starts falling for Beth after reading e-mails between her and her friend Jennifer even though the two have never met. I really liked Lincoln who could have come off as really creepy. A sweet romantic comedy. Nothing deep but I enjoyed it.

I liked Eleanor and Park quite a bit and Fangirl was great. This one is even better!
