This book is just bizarre. It is a story of a hermaphrodite. I liked this book for taking me to this world and providing an understanding of what it would be like under these circumstances.

Eugenides tells a brilliant tale and weaves family history with a antagonist I learned a lot from. Several sentences were so brilliantly written I read them over, and over, and over.
