What Members Thought
Sadly, this was not up to Patterson standards. It was only around page 275 that I felt any sense of urgency to the mystery. I'm not reading a Patterson novel for great literature; I'm reading it purely for a suspenseful, fast-paced plot that pulls me in immediately. This book wasn't it. Even after the mystery was solved, I didn't have a sense of satisfaction for a mystery well solved; my reaction was more like, 'okay, then.'
