This is an author that just gets better with each book. She has merged characters from several series in this one or at least put them all together again, and has solved some of the continuing mysteries in this one. Another winner and I won't say more about the plot. I don't want to ruin it for anyone.

This was a 3.5 read for me.
This is my first time reading Karin Slaughter.

Another good book from Karin Slaughter.
My favorite of the Georgia series so far as we get the intense character development that I love in these books. I thought the crime plot part of the book was little weak and confusing, but that's fine because the family history that we learned was wroth it. I really enjoyed this book and particularly loved the ending. Looking forward to reading the next Georgia book soon, but I fear I have some time to wait :(

Definitely not one for those who prefer restraint in their body counts, but interesting and engaging nonetheless. Slaughter does a nice job keeping you curious about the characters' motivations, and even (or maybe even especially) her good guys come off not entirely lily-white.
