Shelves: mystery, read-in-2016, thriller, kidnapping, chutes-and-ladder-challenge, twins

Margaret and Steve Frawley's three year old twin girls are kidnapped. The kidnappers ask for a large ransom though the Frawley's are not rich. The book jacket gives away a lot more of the plot which I don't like. I'd rate this book in the mid range of Clark's work. Not as good as her early books but much better than the last two books of hers I read which were published more recently. Lots of "possible" suspects for the kidnapping
