This one is also a high school read and I feel kind of guilty for liking it as much as I do. As one may be able to tell from the other books I have read, I am a firm believer in the fact that whites were not in fact victims during Reconstruction which is sort of what Margaret Mitchell makes Scarlett O'Hara out to be.
