Mannnn, I feel like a jerk saying that I didn't love this, but ... I didn't love this.

Do I read too many memoirs? Am I too demanding of memoirs? Am I just a cold-hearted bitch? Was I just not in the right head space for this? Well, I doubt it, maybe, maybe, and probably.

I just tend not to do well with books whose main aspect is a big emotional impact, and I usually don't care for coming-of-age stories, which this effectively is.
