There are 3 more books that follow the adventures of Matthew Shardlake after this one. I really enjoyed this book. The story is interesting, and the author does a great job of making the reader feel as if she is a part of the time period in question. From the language used to even the style of the font in the book, I felt like I was back in Tudor England during the Reformation.

I would recommend this book to historical fiction readers who have an interest in the Reformation period under Henry VII
