beautiful, lyrical writing. intertwining stories of loss and renewal that will gut you.
This book is intense! I read it as a senior in high school, but I just remember being taken back by some of the vivid images and emotions. Very well written, and very harsh realities mixed with something of the unknown. It was my favorite book that I read that year.
