What Members Thought

The Amelia Peabody / Emerson series is always stellar, and Barbara Rosenblat is the most kickass of audiobook readers, so I did enjoy this. But compared to other Peabody/Emerson books, this one felt jumbled and not quite as riveting as one might hope.
I am sad that this is the last one she wrote. (There is one more, created with a co-writer, and you can bet I’ll be reading it, but I don't expect as much from it.). I might have to go back to the beginning and start again from #1. I just wis ...more
