What Members Thought
So really this book wasn't meant for me. I wanted a plot and characters against the backdrop of Paris through the lens of music. But instead what you have here is essentially the history of pianos, a bit about playing music, and a couple of weak voices to tell you about it. While there were a few moments where I thought I could really get into this book, I ended up feeling the dry tone of a history textbook.
