This is my second read of O'Nan and similar to Songs of the Missing, I liked it, but was hoping for more. Keeping this one short, it wasn't as much of a slog as SOM, but considering its premise, it went slowly.

At once sad, sweet and enchanting this short novel about a couple who are about to divorce due to marital infidelities and bankruptcy give their union one last change through the husband's scheme to win the money back through gambling

1.5 stars. Though this a short book, it took me forever to get through it as I didn't care much for the characters.
