A funky little paean to my new hometown, and it captures the essence of the place - sometimes quirky, sometimes freaky, sometimes sweet, always interesting.
Couldn't get into it. Too strange, and a completely different view of Portland than I have ever had. I was born here in 1969 and was only gone for 10 years in early adulthood. I never lived downtown, so maybe that is the "problem".

Anyone from Portland should read this book. I plan to visit all the whacky places that are mentioned in this book.
An amusing read, but really only the sort of thing a fin of CP's work would want to pick up.
